Zuma:

Asian food here is excellent, especially the input edamame, the Tatakis varied and the lobster with butter sauce and oriental. Michy’s:

beautiful restaurant, moderninho and at the same time very cozy. It is a contemporary bistro with an interesting menu and a good wine list. Grilled white fish with plantain and the Greek salad of watermelon, cucumber and blue cheese are divine. It is located in Upper East Side Miami, a little away from the tourist area of Miami Beach, but it’s an interesting proposal.

George’s in the Grove:

After the tourists ended Coconut Grove and gone from there, the sites returned to attend this yummy place, especially at night when the bars are crowded on the sidewalk. George’s in the Grove is no different. Dark, with high and sports through the TV’s music. Sing happy birthday and an animation only serve everything with great quality. I ate carpaccio, pasta, meat and everything was a delight. The cuisine is international, with one foot in France.

“LEO E CALOMENI”: O CHEMICAL BROTHERS BRASILEIRO?

A história dos únicos DJS milionários brasileiros

O desavisado que for quinta à noite no Spirit Art Club e olhar para as pickups, pode achar que está numa viagem de ácido vendo tudo repetido. Mas não é o caso. Comandando a noite, estarão os irmãos gêmeos idênticos Leo e Calomeni. Porém, a história por trás dos promissores DJs de Deep House/Progressive é uma viagem de ácido em si.

Numa vibe um pouco Moby (produtor norte-americano), um pouco “Professor Xavier” dos X-Men – ambos esclarecem, no entanto, que são carecas por opção – “Leo e Calomeni” parecem peixes fora d’água no ambiente da cena de eletro… E são. Diferente da maioria dos DJs de sua idade, André e Leandro Koerich, nome verdadeiro da dupla, são milionários! Literalmente; possuem uma fortuna avaliada em R$ 40 milhões de reais. Mas, obviamente, esse império foi construído fora das pistas de dança. Magnatas, donos (dentre outros empreendimentos) da Atlantis, construtora de edifícios de Alto-Padrão em Balneário Camburiú, os gêmeos da tradicional familia catarinense Koerich se aproximaram da vida noturna por conta de um susto que os fez descobrir que a felicidade não estava ligada às coisas materiais:

“Comecei a ter palpitações e tremedeiras por stress e vi que tinha de diminuir meu ritmo de trabalho.”- diz Leandro Koerich, irmão mais novo por 5 minutos – “Não cuidava do meu corpo, muito menos do meu bem-estar. Estava muito preocupado em como ficar rico e outras coisas superficiais. Existem outros tipos de riqueza, outras formas de ser feliz e uma das coisas que mais me dava motivação era essa brincadeira de incendiar a pista com as músicas.”. A “brincadeira” – sugerida por André, que tinha em casa um Mixer e um CD-J da Pioneer esquecidos desde a adolescência – começou a virar coisa séria e em pouco tempo os gêmeos passaram a figurar nas melhores baladas de Florianópolis.

“Coisa séria” até a segunda faixa, pois os dois garantem que apesar do sucesso que alcançaram em pouco tempo – tendo inclusive feito um set ao vivo na praia na última festa de reveillon em Jurerê Internacional – o “ganha-pão” oficial dos dois está fora do ramo musical. “Só queremos nos divertir e divertir as pessoas. Nosso business ainda está lá fora na construção e na telecomunicação” – diz André, logo sendo completado por Leandro: “Podemos até investir no meio; em entretenimento, sabe? Mas, eu pelo menos, não estou pronto para ser o produto.”

A dinâmica dos irmãos Koerich é interessante. No imaginário coletivo, a imagem de gêmeos univitelinos é aquela de um espelho: pura sintonia, pensamento único. Mas observando os dois percebe-se rapidamente as unicidades de cada um. Quando tocam, por exemplo, cada um tem sua vez durante a música; não exatamente “dividem” concomitantemente o mixer. André dá mais valor aos hooks e build-ups para o refrão, enquanto Leandro gosta de quase se perder ritmicamente na introdução de layers em cima de layers quase tocando o caos até trazer tudo de volta à calmaria. Quando conversam, Leandro é mais introspectivo e cerebral, André mais risonho e popularesco. Visualmente falando, embora não tenham estilos muito diferentes, fazem questão de não se vestirem idênticos. “Sempre que vou sair de casa tenho que ligar pro Leandro pra garantir que não estamos vestindo a mesma cor” – diz André aos risos.

Perguntados sobre uma possível semelhança com a mais famosa dupla DJ do mundo, os britânicos The Chemical Brothers, os gêmeos Koerich acreditam que é só a questão do brothers – “E olha que eles nem são irmãos de verdade!”, lembra Leandro. Mas a comparação com a dupla gringa – que no campo musical tocam Big Beat, Techno e Trip Hop, estilos muito diferente da dupla catarinense – talvez possa ser levada a sério pelo potencial de superação dos dois. Se a experiência empresarial de Leandro e André servir de parâmetro para alguma coisa, os “peixes fora d’água” – cujo a presença na cena eletro à primeira vista só podia ser uma viagem de ácido – podem, muito em breve, estarem nadando a largas braçadas:

Logo aos 18, os irmãos abriram juntos sua primeira empresa sem nenhum conhecimento empresarial. “Tudo que tínhamos era autoconhecimento” – diz André. “E, mesmo assim, nem tanto.”, brinca Leandro. Desde então, tal qual no setlist de um bom DJ, a vida dos dois foi um sucesso atrás do outro. O repertório (das empresas) da dupla é variado: telecomunicação, entretenimento, construção civil, estacionamento… E talvez mais importante: eles sempre souberam a hora certa de capitalizar o momento de “alta” da pista (mercado), parar a música (vender a empresa) e partir para a próxima (música/empresa). Resta apenas um detalhe na analogia DJ-Empresário: a resposta do público. E quinta-feira, caso ninguém exagere no ácido, poderemos ter uma noção quanto a isso.

On Brickell Key you have the perfect place for a walk or a running, keep your circuit on the coast, you will see plenty of amazing views.

Beach?

The Mandarim Hotel has a sort of beach where there is sand but no sea to swim. The Four Seasons Hotel has a nice pool. But the closest beach we have is at Key Biscayne. You can feel like arriving in Cancun and go straight to the Ritz Carlton for drinks at the beach, restaurants to choose and plenty of comfort.
